From 2015-2018 Antonio was senior director of global soccer footwear at Under Armour's global headquarters responsible for innovation and product marketing. From 1996 to 2014, Antonio was part of the adidas group. As senior innovation director for soccer Antonio's role was to shape the future of the game worldwide. He set long term vision and strategies using market landscape/trend data and consumer profiling to determine products and services needed for the global soccer consumer. His innovation team worked on projects such as next-gen soccer footwear and the 2014 FIFA world cup ball.
Prior, Antonio spent six years as the director of soccer for North America where he drove merchandising, go-to-market, and sales with full P&L responsibility. Antonio also worked in sports marketing, footwear development, product marketing and footwear sourcing in the U.S., Germany, and China.
Antonio is also mad about mountain biking and snowboarding, crazy about reading and loves Real Madrid.
